I certify on honor that JacobKleinmann, a second class Musician of Band of Third Regiment of Infty PRVC,Volunteers of the State of Pennsylvania, born in Germany, age 41 years,5 feet 7 inches high, dark complexion, blue eyes, grey hair and by occupationa Musician, having joined the Band on its original organization at CampTrunally, D.C., and enrolled in it at the Muster into the Service of theUnited States at Camp Trunally, D.C. on the seventeenth day of September,1861 for the term of three years and having served honestly and faithfullywith his band in 3rd Regiment PRVC to the present date is now entitled to adischarge in Compliance with special order No. 1 of August 4, 1862 fromheadquarters, 5th Army Corps. The said Jacob Kleinman was last paid bypaymaster Major Pomeroy, to include the 30th day of June 1862, and has paydue him from that time to the present date and also pay for the use of hishorse having been mounted during that time, and he is entitled to pay andsubsistence for traveling to place of enrollment and whatever other allowancesare authorized to Volunteer soldiers, and militia, so discharged. He hasreceived fifty five dollars and three cents (55.03) advanced by the UnitedStates on account of clothing given in duplicate at Harrison Landing, Va.,this Seventh day of August 1862.H.G.Sickel,
